Follow The Leader
The words you want to hear,
I can write.
Subordinate clauses.
Absolute.
Or merely coordinate.
Let’s have some fun.
You can be the nouns and articles.
But the verb.
I control.
First Round:
Please, continue.
A request, or an order?
And does the outcome differ?
Go on.
The game can be physical, mental,
interoperational.
A game must be eloquent, for it wants to contain you.
And every game begins.
Play.
Ends.
In every consecutive round, the question remains:
what is the next action?
A reaction.
A process.
Every game that ends invites another round.
At this moment, secondary.
And every form of guidance, precarious, begs for repetition.
And when the same ones become sophisticated?
What repeats is not the game, but the action.
So, inattention, and pretension.
The instruments to be used, and better yet, always intoned.
Since words, when concatenated in a direction, create action.
Third Round.
The verb.
Enslaved.
The subject and the object.
Confined.
Both kidnapped by connection.
Deprived of action.
Being hostages.
Or by consensus, who knows, investigation.
In constant containment.
Mesmerized?
Then repeat.
Final round.
A simple suggestion.
Or a hint.
Stopping is always an option.
Or not.
Did you win?
Because it was grammar that limited the board.
Therefore the game is still, in action.
And is it really for pure amusement?
Reversal.
Besides, if you catch the intention, don't be upset.
Or do. And if not,
don't repeat this production.
