Dear Life

Life, Dear Shelter

Trees, forgotten, twisted,

dehydrated,

even stripped bare.

They offer shelter,

accept their fate,

even without life.

From the natural to the artificial,

bones of the trade,

it gets lost in noise.

Even if incomplete,

meaning.

Or completely lost.

The flower and the spirit,

two faces of the same rite.

The bud, redemption.

To bloom is the sacred duty,

beauty, its product,

the world, its fruit.

Life, face it and need it.

I will be your eternal student,

keeping my eyes clear,

from now on,

toward destiny.

Irreverence, detachment,

silence,

loss of intimacy,

broken mirror.

I hope you find what you seek.

And, if you feel lost,

just a new path.

Ah, answers,

how fleeting you are,

unreachable.

Let them go

and don't look back.

Not out of resentment,

like a leaf carried by the stream,

let the currents

take you

where you belong.
